Once a year around the end of April beginning of May, Klein-Aus Vista organizes a Mountain Bike Challenge, where participants can compete in a 3-day stage race. Cyclists can enter for a 132km full-marathon or a 66km half-marathon. There are separate categories for men and women as well as for juniors. This tough event is a challenging, but a rewarding experience.
The 8 th annual Standard Bank Klein-Aus Vista MTB Challenge will be held on the 3,4th & 5th May 2018.
Do not miss out this year. Come and ride the unimaginable Costa’s Climb on day 2 and add your name to the list of riders who have mastered the climb.
Costa Seibeb was the only rider in last year’s race who conquered the climb. There were only three others who managed to ride up Costa’s Climb during training sessions. Alex Muller and Konny Looser were two of them. In 2018, we will have special video and photo coverage at Costa’s Climb sponsored by Gondwana Collection to record each rider’s attempt going up and down the mountain. There will be a N$2500 prize sponsored by Candor IT Namibia for the rider with the fastest ascend. Furthermore, Electro Blitz has sponsored N$2500 for the person recording the fasted time down the “The Wall”.
On Day 3 we have added 25km of new track to ensure the riders who competed in the race before can find new challenges and vistas.
